Episode 1: Round one: Begin!

In this episode, Ash meets Gary who says he will never make it as a Pokemon trainer. Ash, Misty and Brock ignore him and go to register at the front booth. The girl there explains that you have to battle in 4 rounds first. One round in the earth stage, one in the ice stage, grass stage and water stage. Ash goes to the water stage! There, he goes against Mandi, a boy who thinks he is "all-that". The first Pokemon that Mandi uses is a Exegutor. Ash uses his Krabby although Misty and Brock tell him not to. After a long battle, Krabby fianlly wins! Surprisingly, Krabby evolves into a Kingler! The crowd goes WILD! The now frustrated Mandi uses his Seadra, but Krabby easily beats her with a bubble attack! Lastly, Mandi uses a goldbat! Krabby uses Aurora Beam and makes Krabby faint! Good job Ash!

Episode 2: Fire and Ice

The episode starts off with Nidorino vs. Squirtle! Squirtle wins in with an amazing skull bash attack! Ash wins on the Fire field! Back at the cabin, Misty nd Brock are eating. Ash goes to a restaurant with Pikachu and finds out that he eats for free! Next, is the ice stage! Ash uses Kingler and the opponent choses Cloyster! After a hammer attack, Kingler wins! Then, kingler goes against Arcanine! Kingler loses easily! Then it's pikachu's turn. After a very powerful fire blast attack, the ice melts and turns into water. Pikachu uses a thunder shock attack and beats Arcacnine! (remember... water conducts electricity!) Ash is on a role!

Episode 3: The fourth Round Rumble

Just as Ash started to look at the board, he sees Gary. Unfortunately, Gary lost! Ash thinks that since Gary lost, he wouldn't have a chance against the others. Ash goes against a girl and beats her 2 first Pokemon. Then she uses her best Pokemon last! A.... BELLSPROUT!! hee hee... not too impressive eh? But the Bellsprout wins against Pikachu! Finally, Ash decides to use his Muk and wins!

Episode 4: A friend in deed

In this episode, Ash meets a boy named Richie who is smart and VERY friendly. After being stuck in an elevator and getting everyone out safely, Ash and Richie become friends. Team Rocket steals their Pokemon soon after! Richie and Ash decide to camp out and find their lost Pokemon. They finally beat team rocket and get back the Pokeballs. Now Richie and Ash are back at the Pokemon office where they choose who their next opponent will be. Ash fishes out a magikarp that says "A-3" on it. "and number A-3 is..." starts the girl at the office desk. "Richie!" Ash and Richie stare at each other and both wander that if someone looses the battle, they won't just loose that... but their friendship also.

Episode 5:A Friend and foe alike

Ash and Richie promise that they will make this the best battle they ever had. After getting kidnapped by team rocket, Ash is determined to get bak to the Pokemon league competition where he can battle Richie. "I promised Richie" he says to himself. Finally, Ash gets to the Pokemon league after almost getting desqualified. Ash uses Bulbasuar and Richie uses "Happy" his butterfree. They both battle, but sadly, Bulbasaur loses. Pikachu gets so angry at Butterfree that he leaps in the air and tackles Butterfree. "Butterfree is not longer able to battle" calls the ref. Pikachu, is now too pooped to battle. (because he battle Team rocket while trying to escape them earlier) Richie's Charmander "Zippo" beats poor Pikachu. WIth only one chance left, Ash takes a risk and says "Charizard I choose YOU!" Charizard beats Charmander easily! Then Richie uses his Pikachu "Sparky". Charizard thinks that he is too good for a little Pikachu that he doesn't even bother to battle him. Ash loses. After a bit of t ears and sniffs, Ash congradualates Richie. "Win the other battles for me... " he says smiling happily for his friend. Ash and Pikachu gaze up at the Pokemon league fire and still dreams of becoming the best Pokemon master ever.
